Landhotel Waldeck in Lohrhaupten

We were only here for coffee. The restaurant is beautifully located above the village and has just been renovated. (The coffee was good.) Otherwise it looked a little sad. -Whether that was just due to Corona? - We do not know it. December 2020: The building is now probably for sale

Loud room directly above the bowling alley. Everything is furnished in the style of the 80s. The half-board meal was just horrible, hardly anyone was full, many of us didn't finish. The staff very attentive and the outside terrace is nice, but one star more.

The location of the hotel is great. The landlady was very nice at the beginning, at the latest when she settled after 4 days, she showed an impossible behavior. We had booked half board with 23 people, no choice of the evening meal and the boiled beef from the first evening completely tough and with tendons, so less Quality, all in all not to be recommended.

It's past its prime, but friendly service, average kitchen.

Very lovingly designed building. Top room and hall for celebrations. Please reserve original Armenian specialties in advance as these are freshly prepared for you. The owners are extremely nice and live a family style. As a guest you are never alone and always welcome. The food is fresh, delicious and you can feel and taste the love of the chef in it. Due to the height and the airy draft in the Spessart, the rooms are always cool and sleep resembles a fountain of youth. The breakfast buffet is a dream, the baked goods are unforgettable and the number of copies is endless. Anyone who has been here once has to come back. The hotel has a bowling alley and the place has a beautiful outdoor pool. Perfect for hikers and nature lovers.

Nice hotel, but from the furniture very in need of renovation. Old furniture and the atmosphere very old inside. But the innkeepers were very friendly. For a night with breakfast but fully ok.

Wonderful hotel owners. The very best and fresh food. Perfect clean room. For a vacation in the countryside close to nature, as a restaurant and above all as an event location, highly recommended. 10 out of 5 stars.

The hotel rooms were clean and tidy, unfortunately the walls are a bit thin so the rooms are a bit noisy. The hosts are friendly and very nice. The atmosphere in the restaurant is ok. In the outdoor area it is very cozy. The dinner was delicious and something different. The breakfast buffet is rich.

In transit, we stayed here for one night. A really nice little hotel with very good kitchen and helpful and very friendly staff. The rooms are clean and very nicely decorated. There is ample parking at the hotel.

The location of the hotel top, the terrace in good weather gigantic. The operators very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast as well as the dinner were delicious. We will be back.

Hotel located on a high mountain, which leads a narrow winding road. Beautiful panorama of the mountains. Hotel with normal and sheltered parking. Friendly service, large restaurant, clean rooms.

Small duvets, poor sound insulation, no possibility as a foreigner to pay with credit/debit. Too expensive vs comparable hotels in the same area
